Learning languages

Lets learn some English and Finnish.

Last night I got this idea to write this post in English for a change. I know there's people who speak (only) English in the readers of my blog, so I decide to write this entry in English.

1st lesson: Numbers and alphabets
It's not so hard to learn numbers...
1 = one = yksi
2 = two = kaksi
3 = three = kolme
4 = four = neljä
5 = five = viisi
6 = six = kuusi
7 = seven = seitsemän
8 = eight = kahdeksan
9 = nine = yhdeksän
10 = ten = kymmenen
11 = eleven = yksitoista
12 = twelve = kaksitoista
13 = thirdteen = kolmetoista
14 = fourteen = neljätoista
15 = fifteen = viisitoista
20 = twenty = kaksikymmentä
25 = twentyfive = kaksikymmentäviisi
30 = thirty = kolmekymmentä

2nd lesson: Nationality and language
Most annoying/irritating feature in English text in forum/discussion board is that some people don't recognise the difference between finish and Finnish.

If something is run/ran out totaly, don't have anything left, it's then finish(ed).

If you're from Finland or talk the native language of Finland, it's Finnish.
